Commissioned Keepsake Box

We were contacted by a client to make a memory box. The client had created a leather piece for her daughter’s graduation cap, and wanted a box to mount the leather to. We worked with her on dimensions and wood species, making sure that the box would be a solid foundation for the leather work, and also in pleasing proportions. Deep grain patterns were a strong consideration for her, and we knew we also had to match the leatherwork. The final product was a success.
